Daimler China's director Hubertus Troska said in Shanghai that Daimler will continue to make "large-scale investments" with BAIC Group in local electric vehicle production. Troska said that Daimler will cooperate with BAIC to produce EQC electric SUVs equipped with Chinese batteries. Daimler CEO DieterZetsche said that EQB electric SUVs will be produced in China from 2021, and Daimler will launch a production version of GLB SUV this summer.
